Most of the information and courses available on Code.org are in English. However, the website is partially translated, and you will find activities in French and German.
Code.org is a non-profit organization, supported by Facebook, Microsoft, Google and Amazon, just to name a few. Its main objective is the promotion of coding worldwide. To do this, it promotes and makes available free lessons and activities for children and teenagers from 4 to 18 years old.
The learning process on Code.org is easy and fun. Indeed, the platform has partnered with Disney or Minecraft to offer creative and fun screens. During lessons, children have the possibility to discover and learn coding through Frozen, Minecraft or Star Wars.
The courses and activities available on Code.org are also available to parents and teachers/lecturers. The latter can use them to introduce coding to students. As far as parents are concerned, the programs available can help them learn more about coding, and the information gathered will help them support their children in the learning process.
